The TANREI series from ZWILLING is a unique combination of Japanese craftsmanship and German engineering that is unparalleled in terms of hardness and sharpness as well as in its unique damask design. Each TANREI paring knife (230mm) has its own unique blade pattern, which is continuous from tip to bolster.

Thanks to its damask pattern, the paring knife not only has an exceptionally nice appearance, its interior is also impressive with a hardness of 63 HRC, which is a very high level of hardness that is rarely achieved in kitchen knives. 100 layers of premium steel and an FC 63 core were used to make the 230mm ultra-hard blade. It is finished with a triple riveted, rounded handle in Micarta (artificial resin). All TANREI knives are sharpened in Japan to achieve the quality you need in your kitchen.

The Micarta shaft (a multi-layer material made of canvas and synthetic resin) with stainless steel rivets and a decorative logo is dimensionally stable and moisture resistant.

Each knife is made in Japan.
