Here you will find some more information about the qualities we offer at Proshave:
- Silvertip Badger:
Are natural badger hair of the highest quality. The bristles are the most expensive and best of the badger. A shaving brush like this one is very soft.
- Silvertip Fiber®:
Are high-tech synthetic fibers of superior quality. Silvertip Fiber® is an innovative solution that ensures that the badger can keep his beautiful hair in peace. The shaving brush dries faster than natural hair.
- Finest Badger
Finest Badger are some nice soft brushes that are located between Pure Badger and Silvertip. The brush is light and has a good absorbency.
- Pure Badger
Pure Badger is the most common type of badger hair and thus also the cheapest. The natural rough hair is very flexible. They are not nearly as soft as Silvertip Badger or Silvertip Fiber®, but they do have a massaging effect on the skin, which prepares the beard stubble for subsequent shaving.
- Black Fiber
Is 100% vegan quality hair. The dark color and softness make the synthetic fibers look like natural hair, and they also contain good properties.
- Natural Hair
The so-called Boar brushes are made of boar hair (boar). Boar brushes typically have the same stiffness as an artificial brush, but since the hairs have a better absorbency and can contain more water, boar gives a better foaming of the soap or shaving cream.
Note: All natural hair brushes the first few times you use them will smell a bit of "wet badger" - This is quite natural and this odor subsides and disappears after a couple of times of use. If you want to speed up the process yourself, rinse the brush in warm water and then gently wipe it with a hair dryer.
