In 2005, Todd Cerami read an inspirational article about the benefits of a traditional wet shave. He was immediately attracted to the idea of shaving in a way that was both cheaper and more efficient than the mass producers' alternatives. He quickly found that the benefits of a classic shave changed his daily shaving ritual from being a task to being a real pleasure.
Todd was especially fond of the refreshing, cooling sensation he got from using the aftershave splash. After trying a number of aftershaves on the market for several years, he decided to start his own production of aftershaves. And that is the beginning of 7 fragrant aftershaves! Mr. Fine's aftershaves have a cooling and refreshing effect on the skin. They each have an exquisite, masculine scent that makes one think of an authentic shave in an authentic barber's salon.

In 2005, Todd Cerami (Mr. Fine) read a catchy article about the benefits of a traditional wet shave. In his constant search for good investment opportunities, he was immediately attracted to the idea of shaving in a way that was both cheaper and more efficient than the mass producers' alternatives.
Mr. Fine immediately went on to investigate the wet-shave universe further. He quickly found that the benefits of a classic shave exceeded his expectations. Not only was it cheaper and more efficient - but it transformed the entire shaving experience from a task to a real pleasure.
He continued to experiment with traditional shaving products and quickly realized that he was primarily hooked on various aftershave splashes. The wonderful smells and the refreshingly cool sensation were the reason why the shaving experience was unique and satisfying in a way he had not felt before.
The simple enjoyment led to a minor obsession when Mr. Fine bought a myriad of different aftershaves to try. But it was not until he tried Alt-Innsbruck (a famous Austrian aftershave) that he discovered how excellent an aftershave could be. Although consisting of only four ingredients, it had the absolutely right amount of everything. Inspired by this apparent simplicity, Mr. Fine decided to recreate his favorite product - but in his own way.
After several years, he finally found a formula that made him perfectly happy. And now the brand Fine was a reality. It began with him sending 10 free samples to members of the Wicked Edge forum on Reddit.com. From here on, the brand spread through word of mouth, and Fine experienced explosive growth.
