Stropping Paste

In order to maintain your razor optimally, it is important that you keep the knife's blade clean and sharp. You do this by grinding the razor when needed.

You grind your razor with a leather strop and some abrasive paste - also called stropping paste. A stropping paste contains small particles that grind the cutter on the razor. Some contain ultra-fine diamond particles and can be used daily, while others provide a slightly coarser grinding of your razor when needed for a slightly larger turn.

Only apply abrasive paste to a leather strop that can withstand it.

It is also important that you also remember to care for the leather strop itself. We have a nourishing balm in the range that you need to use to continue to achieve a good and gentle grinding / cleaning of your razor.
