- If you have short and thin hair with the potential to straighten, we recommend you a matte wax with lots of hold. It makes the hair stay where it is all day long.
- On the other hand, if you have short and thick hair, a fiber wax or clay wax is a good bet for the ultimate wax for you. The fibers are often water based, making a wax of this type easy to wash. A fiber wax gives a strong hold and a bit of shine, so your hair always looks nice and well-groomed.
- If you have longer hair, you should opt out of growing with too strong hold, as it is impossible to work with and difficult to wash out. Instead, we recommend an edition with smaller teams and more shine, which typically has a trade name called something like forming, molding or pomade.
- A pomade is a great product for men with very long hair, who want to throw it back, or cut it very tight. A pomade also contains lots of shine and as a bonus prevents the hair from drying out.
