- Nicks & Scratches
Most people probably know it - you're shaving and suddenly you're not paying attention, you turn the razor at a crazy angle or maybe you have an unevenness in your skin and suddenly you've cut yourself and the blood comes out.
This typically happens when you're almost done, just before you need to put on your shirt, before you have to leave the door for something important or just before the guests arrive. But don't worry - it's easy to stop a little bleeding and here we're not thinking of them sticking a piece of toilet paper on the bleeding, only to forget all about it until you're sitting in the middle of a meeting, standing on the bus or having welcomed the guests ;-)
If the accident happens, rinse with cold water and then use an alum block or some Shave Cut Healing Gel.
You can prevent the injury from happening by making sure that your razor blade is always sharp. In addition, you should be aware that you don't press the razor hard against the skin when shaving, as this can cause cuts and tears.
