Aftershaves were initially introduced in barbershops, where barbers used aftershave to close pores and kill bacteria after shaving. Since then, new textures have been added that include lotion, balm, cream and gel. And you can now find aftershaves for all needs, without alcohol, and to different skintypes. Your aftershave is the perfect end to a shave, because it ensures corrects moisture balance and soothes the skin with its moisturizing and nourishing ingredients. The skin is extra delicate and sensitive right after a shave, and it is important to help your skin recover, and to avoid your skin to dry out or become red and irritated.
