The Grafton Series was launched in 1983 due to demand from an HMS Grafton officer who regularly visited Truefitt's barber. He had a desire to have an unrecognizable, masculine scent and suggested that it should be named after the gracious line of HSE battleships.
This is a sophisticated, masculine cologne. The top notes come from lavender, lemon and basil, while the heart notes consist of wood, cedar, incense and rose. The base of the fragrance rests on patchouli, sandalwood, tonka, amber, musk.
