Freshman friction from Truefitt & Hill is a fragrant hair lotion.

It is very stimulating for the scalp and refreshes both hair and scalp.

It contains a strong menthol-cleansing preparation which gives a 'tingling' sensation in the scalp. Freshman therefore contains menthol, and is not for you with a delicate scalp (Try Athenian Water Hair Tonic from Truefitt & Hill instead).

This hair tonic has added the popular Freshman scent, which many men around the world swear by. The fragrance was launched in 1815, and is the oldest fragrance from Truefitt & Hill. However, it has since been relaunched so that it also suits the modern gentleman these days. The Freshman fragrance has top notes of citrus, bergamot, rosemary and orange blossom, heart notes of sage, lily, jasmine and ylang-ylang and base notes of wood and musk.

Used in the following way:
- For best results, apply to slightly damp hair.
- Apply to hair and scalp and massage in
- Use only a little, as it is slow in use.
- Style your hair as usual and use a styling product that adds hold afterwards, if desired.
