This base plate is the one used for the closed comb Masamune Razor.

The closed base plate is the most popular. It is made with small grooves in the base plate, which secures the skin with a minimum of leaf exposure.

The base plate is made of matt stainless steel - but is also available in a dark stainless steel variant.
