The shaving soap is handmade from scratch and made from only the finest quality ingredients such as natural plant oils, locally produced tallow, exotic butters, local essential oils and premium fragrances.

This Kokum Butter and Tallow soap formulation provides excellent lubrication, moisture and protection to the skin during shaving.

Lather up the soap with your shaving brush and you will achieve a thick, delicious and smooth shaving foam.

The soap is part of the Astoria series. The series is named after the garden city of Astoria, located where the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean. Located on Oregon's northern border, this area is known for its river, ocean, forest and its sense of adventure. Founded in 1811, Astoria was the first permanent settlement on the West Coast.

Moon Soap got its inspiration for this fragrance from watching a favorite childhood movie, The Goonies. The film evoked the nostalgia of a child growing up in the 80s.

The Astoria fragrance is a complex aquatic fragrance with woody notes and evergreen crispness that will give you the feeling of being in a forest of Douglas Fir on the Oregon coast, where a cool, fresh breeze blows across the water. This fragrance is a sure winner in both the cooler months as well as for summer wear. Astoria has a touch of menthol for extra refreshment.

Fragrant notes: Cypress, spruce, oakmoss, sage, eucalyptus, blue spruce, white birch, mint and sweet osmanthus.
