The series is named after the garden city of Astoria, located where the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean. Located on Oregon's northern border, this area is known for its river, ocean, forest and its sense of adventure. Founded in 1811, Astoria was the first permanent settlement on the West Coast.

Moon Soap got its inspiration for this fragrance from watching a favorite childhood movie, The Goonies. The film evoked the nostalgia of a child growing up in the 80s.

The Astoria fragrance is a complex aquatic fragrance with woody notes and evergreen crispness that will give you the feeling of being in a forest of Douglas Fir on the Oregon coast, where a cool, fresh breeze blows across the water.
