Bergamotto di Positano is a tribute to Charles Joseph Pagliano, who at the beginning of the 19th century left the small fishing village on the Amalfi coast to travel to England and marry his sweetheart Mary Floris. Mary was a central member of the Floris family. She lived and worked for many years for the family business at 89 Jermyn Street.
The breathtaking sight of the Amalfi Coast brings you close to the real, tangible and intense soul of the Mediterranean. It is this beauty that Charles left behind for the love of his life. Charles never returned to Positano, but his portrait with Mary's still hangs inside the mahogany cabinet of 89 Jermyn Street.
