The Preshave goes in and lifts the stubble from the face, so the razor doesn't cut the skin itself, but instead grabs the stubble. It softens the beard and lays down a protective layer to prepare the skin for the encounter with the razor. By providing an easier glide over the skin, the risk of irritation and stubble is reduced and you get a closer and much more comfortable shave.

To use: Take some of your favorite Preshave in the palms of your hands and massage it into the beard. Feel free to rub against the direction of the beard, as this will "lift" the beard and further prepare it for shaving. Let it soak in while you get out your shaving gear or stir your shaving cream or shaving soap into a nice lather. Apply the lather to your face and then start shaving as usual.
