We recommend that you always apply a Preshave before applying your shaving foam. The purpose of a Preshave cream is to lift the stubble, soften the beard and put a protective layer on the skin. It gives your razor a great glide and therefore reduces the risk of irritation, stubble and red bumps. You'll get a much closer and smoother shave if you use a Preshave cream as the very first step in your shave.
