The Tatara Amakuni Single Edge is an exclusive razor for those who want high precision, control, and a close shave. It was developed specifically for Artist Club single-edge Razor Blades and combines Tatara’s minimalist design with well-thought-out shaving geometry.

Ultra-thin head for high precision
The compact Super Slim razor head makes the razor easy to maneuver and provides good access to difficult areas, such as under the nose. The rounded corners also contribute to a comfortable and controlled shave.

Magnetic blade replacement
Amakuni features a simple two-part design with an integrated magnetic system that securely holds the blade and top plate in place. This makes both assembling and replacing the Razor Blade quick and easy.

Artist Club blades are available with different characteristics and degrees of sharpness, so the shave can be tailored to your beard type, skin, and personal preferences.

Precise shaving
geometry With an Artist Club Professional blade, the Amakuni has a blade gap of 0.85 mm, a blade exposure of 0.060 mm, and a blade angle of 29 degrees. This combination delivers a precise and efficient shave with excellent control.

Stainless steel with a matte finish
The razors are crafted from solid stainless steel; their weight helps guide the blade through the beard and reduces the need to apply pressure to the skin. The handle’s 294 distinctive indentations also ensure a stable grip.

Each razor is individually hand-finished and sandblasted, creating the elegant matte surface. The parts are machined with tolerances as tight as 0.02 mm to ensure high precision and a perfect fit.

Use as follows
:- Remove the magnetic top plate and attach a compatible Artist Club blade
.- Replace the top plate so that the magnets secure the assembly.
- Shave with gentle strokes and minimal pressure—let the razor’s weight do the work
.- Rinse the razor thoroughly after use and let it dry.
