Developed for the Masamune Nodachi razor from Tatara Razors, this open comb base plate is especially for the experienced wetshaver who wants maximum efficiency in shaving.

With a blade gap of 0.90 mm, this plate is more aggressive than the closed comb variant. The open comb exposes a larger part of the razor blade, making it easier to get close to the skin - ideal for close, coarse or multi-day stubble.

The base plate is made of AISI 303 stainless steel and has a matte finish that matches the minimalist and exclusive design Tatara is known for. Also available in a dark version if you prefer a more distinctive style.
