Designed for the Masamune razor, this base plate offers a more direct and efficient shave thanks to the open comb design. Compared to the classic closed base plate, this version offers a slightly higher aggressiveness, making it particularly suitable for men with dense beard growth or those who prefer a closer shave.

Blade exposure is -0.10 mm and blade gap is 0.73 mm - a combination that ensures a controlled but efficient cutting performance without the shave feeling too harsh on the skin.

The base plate is CNC-machined in AISI 303 stainless steel and has an elegant matte finish. For a darker look, it is also available in a dark finish version, so you can customize your Shaver to suit your style and preference.
