This closed comb base plate is the standard variant of the Masamune razor from Tatara Razors - and not without reason the most popular model. With a blade gap of 0.63 mm and a negative blade exposure of -0.13 mm, you get a smooth and controlled shave that is particularly suitable for everyday use.

The small, discreet grooves in the base plate help control the shaving foam and protect the skin during shaving. It provides a smooth, comfortable experience without unnecessary irritation - even for those with sensitive skin.

The plate is CNC-milled from high-quality AISI 303 stainless steel and has a beautiful matte finish. For a darker look, you can choose the same base plate in a dark version to match the rest of your Shaver.
