Caudalie is a premium skincare brand that offers natural, effective and sustainable products that address a wide range of skin concerns.
Caudalie is a French skincare brand founded in 1995 by Mathilde and Bertrand Thomas. The brand is known for using natural ingredients and their patented ingredient, grape seed oil, which they claim has anti-aging properties.
The renowned skincare brand combines pharmaceutical science with principles of luxury and naturalness. The entire product range contains active ingredients from the vine and grapes. Caudalie's philosophy is to use ingredients that are both effective and environmentally friendly. Their products are also free of parabens, phthalates and mineral oil.
Caudalie has the vine as an inexhaustible resource and source of inspiration. Caudalie is a complete concept of products for both face, body and hair, and several different skin types. Some products have achieved cult status among consumers, make-up artists and VIPs worldwide.
Caudalie uses the many exclusive, active ingredients from the wine, e.g. the moisturizing and soothing organic grape juice, the nourishing grape seed oil and the moisturizing Vinolevure®, which is extracted from wine yeast, which also strengthens the skin's immune system.
"Do you know that you are throwing away valuable treasures?" This phrase changed my life, Mathilde Thomas, founder of Caudalie, likes to say. It originates from the first meeting with Professor Vercauteren during the 1993 wine harvest at the family estate Château Smith Haut Lafitte. He then revealed the unique anti-oxidizing properties of grapes and grape polyphenols. Caudalie was born.
Mathilde Thomas founded Caudalie in 1995 with her husband, Bertrand, and they still run the family-owned business today with the same passion and conviction as from the very first day. Mathilde tests lots of textures every week and selects the best and most effective ingredients for skin care. "I created Caudalie because I am convinced that beauty products must not only be effective - they must also be natural and luxurious", says Mathilde Thomas. Today, Caudalie has several worldwide patents around which their delicious product universe is built.
