The Double Edge razor blades fit all our DE razors. The razor blades have only one edge that is sharp on both sides. The ultimate advantage of replacing your regular razor with a DE razor is the price of the razor blades: DE razor blades are very cheap, starting at just 2.5 DKK each. So you no longer have to compromise on the sharpness of the blade! A sharp and clean razor blade ensures a smooth, close and comfortable shave without irritation.

As skin, beard and beard growth vary greatly from person to person, we always recommend that beginners try a few different razor blades to start with. That way you can quickly find out which razor blade gives you the closest and best shave. After that, it's only these blades that you need to use in the future. When it comes to choosing razor blades, the first - and very big - question is: Do you prefer multi-blade razor blades (as you know from Gillette Fusion or Mach3) - or do you prefer the classic (super sharp - but very cheap) DE razor blades?

How do you choose the right razor blade?

Finding the right razor blade is a bit like dating - you may have to go through a few less good experiences before you find the right one. Fortunately, razor blades are not an expensive pleasure, and we want to help you quickly find the right blade for you. Our best recommendation is to try yourself out and for that we have a sample package where you can try 10 different magazines. It's our most popular razor blades in one package. Try a few times with each magazine, and then you simply re-order the one that suits you best afterwards.

... for a multi-blade scraper:
If you prefer to shave with a scraper that uses regular multi-blade razor blades, we highly recommend you try the multi-blade scrapers from Derby or LEA. In addition, you can buy very cheap razor blades and you are therefore guaranteed an excellent shave - but at a fraction of the price compared to the market-leading manufacturers. Who came up with the idea that a razor blade should cost more than DKK 40?

How long does a razor blade last?

There are several things that affect durability, and first of all the quality of the razor blade itself is decisive, then your skin type and how you care for and store your shaving equipment.

Buy good quality and the blade will last longer, and may turn out to be the cheapest in the long run. If you have a thick beard, it also wears out more than a thinner beard, but if you make sure to clean your razor blade after use, and store it dry, and standing so that water can run off, you can squeeze up to ⅘ extra shaves out of one blade.

But be careful, because you shouldn't change the blade too late, because then you just risk cutting yourself!

The lifespan of a DE razor blade is very dependent on how strong your beard and beard growth is. The biggest advantage is, of course, that you can change the blade with a clear conscience when you need to, as a razor blade only costs a few kroner.

Does water dull razor blades?

Water is indispensable when you shave, and it quite naturally wears out your equipment. Metal and water don't usually mix well, but you can remedy that. Clean and dry your equipment after use - and make sure to store it where the humidity is not too high, so you have a better chance of taking care of your equipment.

Which razor blades are best?

Double Edge (DE) razor blades are arguably the best. They are the sharpest and deliver the closest shave, and in the long run, they are also the cheapest solution. With razor blades that are so sharp, you also have the best chance of avoiding irritation and other skin problems after shaving.

Can razor blades get too old?

Yes, especially if you haven't taken good enough care of them. If razor blades are used, you quickly notice when they become dull and need to be replaced. Remember THE blades can be turned and thus used several times. If you have kept them in the drawer for a long time, they may have been damaged if there is high humidity, but this is quite unlikely. Unpack the blade, and if there are signs of rust/stains, it can usually be easily removed.

How much do razor blades cost?

From very little to very much. Our prices start at approx. DKK 2 per sheet and up to DKK 5 per sheet.

There are some who call it double-edged blades, but it is the same as razor blades that are sharp on both sides, i.e. the ones used in a DE scraper.
