We often get questions about which Razor Blades to choose for your new Safety Razor. Many have searched the web and read about the sharpest blades, which blades are less sharp, which ones you shouldn't use as a beginner, etc. Fortunately, it's not rocket science, even though some people try to make it out to be.
Basically, beards, beard growth, skin and skin sensitivity differ greatly. Similarly, there are differences in how manufacturers make their Razor Blades, how the blades are sharpened, how or with what they are coated (given a protective coating) etc. In other words, the blade that gives the perfect shave for one user is not necessarily the perfect Razor Blade for another.

We therefore recommend...
For the same reason, we always recommend that new users buy 3, 4 or even 5 different Razor Blades along with a Doube Edge Blade, so that you can try different blades with the Razor and see which one suits your skin and beard best. The blade you get the best experience with is the one you should get in the future
(Of course, you can experiment and have a few different leaves to switch between, as many users do, but it's definitely not necessary).
For this purpose, we have created a "Proshave Doube Edge Blade Samples Pack, 10 Razor Blades". This small set contains 10 different Razor Blades, so without having to buy Razor Blades for a small fortune, you have the opportunity to try some different blades and see which blades you prefer over others.
