How to use Truefitt & Hill's scuttle:
1. Fill the inside of the scuttle with warm or lukewarm water
2. Place your shaving brush in the spout to moisten the hairs
3. Gently shake excess water off the brush
4. Put soap on the brush and start lathering up the scuttle
5. Continuously adjust the moisture by dipping the broom into the water until you reach the desired consistency
