Developed for the Masamune razor from Tatara Razors, this top plate delivers a particularly gentle shave thanks to the negative blade exposure of -0.13 mm. This makes it ideal for those with sensitive skin or for those who want a comfortable and controlled shave without the risk of irritation.

The top plate is CNC-milled in 100% titanium for a unique combination of low weight, high precision and durability. The negative blade exposure and small blade gap ensure that the razor cuts hairs without feeling aggressive on the skin. It provides a smooth and gliding experience - even in daily use.

The thread length is 8 mm, which fits perfectly with the Masamune handle and other Tatara components. For a more intense shave, you can alternatively choose the Nodachi top plate, which has 0.00 mm blade exposure.
