Developed for the Masamune Nodachi razor from Tatara Razors, this top plate is created for the experienced wetshaver who wants a more direct and efficient shave. With a blade exposure of 0.00 mm, the plate delivers a close and smooth shave without being too aggressive. It is ideal for normal to heavy beard growth or for those who prefer a slightly sharper Shaver than the classic Masamune version.

The top plate is CNC-milled with high precision in AISI 303 stainless steel and has a matte finish for an elegant look and long durability. The 10 mm thread length makes it compatible with the Nodachi handle and other Tatara components, allowing you to create your own personalized DE razor.

For a more gentle shave, you can choose the Masamune top plate instead, which has a negative blade exposure of -0.13 mm.
