Designed for the Tatara Masamune Nodachi shaver, this base plate is equipped with an open comb for a slightly more aggressive shave than the closed comb version. It is ideal for experienced users who want a more direct and close shave - for example, for stronger beard growth or longer stubble.

With a blade gap of 0.90 mm and the open comb, you get an efficient shave where the blade works closer to the skin. This gives a smooth result with fewer strokes, without compromising on control and precision.
