This closed comb base plate is designed specifically for the Masamune Nodachi razor from Tatara Razors. It has a slightly higher blade gap of 0.90 mm, making it particularly suitable for those who want a more efficient and thorough shave - for example, with heavier beard growth.

The grooves in the base plate help guide the shaving foam and ensure that the skin is not exposed to unnecessary blade exposure. You get a close, comfortable and precise shave with minimal irritation.

The base plate is made of dark AISI 303 stainless steel for a refined and stylish look. If you want a lighter version, the same plate is also available in a matte finish.
