Tatara Masamune Razor is the epitome of precision, quality and aesthetics. This is the first Shaver launched by Tatara and it has quickly become a favorite among enthusiasts and professionals alike - and for good reason.

The scraper is CNC-turned from one solid piece of stainless steel and manufactured with a tolerance down to 0.02 mm. This makes Masamune a precision tool in a class of its own. The matte finish emphasizes the minimalist and futuristic design, signaling simplicity and technical elegance at the same time.

Masamune is equipped with a small blade pitch and a negative blade exposure of -0.10 mm for a smooth, controlled and gentle shave. It is particularly suitable for those who want an effective yet gentle experience. The open comb adds a bit more aggression than the closed comb version, but without compromising on comfort.

One of the biggest strengths of the scraper is the weight - you simply let the scraper do the work while you guide it smoothly over the skin. At the same time, the blade is always perfectly centered thanks to Tatara's advanced mounting that ensures uniformity and eliminates blade chatter (vibrations from the blade during use).

To adjust the blade exposure for a different shaving experience, you can purchase a Masamune Nodachi Top Plate and change the exposure from -0.10 mm to 0.05 mm.

This version is made of matte stainless steel and is also available in a dark version if you prefer a more distinctive look.
