This base plate fits the Tatara Masamune Nodachi closed comb razor and is the ideal solution for those who want a comfortable and controlled shave without compromising on performance.

The closed comb is Tatara's most popular variant and is designed with small, precisely placed grooves that protect the skin and minimize direct contact with the DE blade. This provides a more forgiving shave and reduces the risk of irritation and nicks - especially suitable for daily use or sensitive skin.

With a blade gap of 0.90 mm, you get a good balance between efficiency and comfort, so you get a smooth shave without feeling aggressive. The base plate is made of 100% titanium, making it both incredibly lightweight and extremely resistant to wear and corrosion.

The plate can be combined with the Tatara top plate and handle, allowing you to fully customize your Shaver to your own preferences.
