Upgrade your Tatara-Shaver with this base plate that fits the Masamune open comb model. The open comb makes the scraper slightly more aggressive than the closed comb version and ensures a more direct contact between blade and skin. This makes it particularly suitable for those who have experience with DE shaving and want an extra close shave.

The base plate has a blade gap of 0.73 mm and a negative blade exposure of -0.10 mm, providing a good balance between efficiency and control. You'll experience a more precise shave without compromising on comfort.

Made of 100% titanium, which makes the blade both lightweight and extremely durable. The material is also corrosion-resistant, ensuring longevity and a great look, even with daily use.

The base plate can easily be combined with the Tatara top plate and handle to customize your Shaver exactly the way you want it.
