Stropping Paste

To maintain your razor at its best, it's important to keep the razor's edge clean and sharp. You do this by sharpening the razor when it needs it.

You sharpen your razor with a leather strap and some sharpening paste - also called stropping paste. A stropping paste contains tiny particles that sharpen the edge of the razor. Some contain ultra-fine diamond particles and can be used daily, while others give your razor a slightly coarser sharpening when it needs a little more work.

Only use sharpening paste on a leather strap that can withstand it.

It's also important to remember to care for the leather strap itself. We have a care balm in our range that you should use to maintain a good and gentle sharpening/cleaning of your razor.
