Mühle Sophist - A beautiful range of shaving accessories

The classic, archetypal shape of the SOPHIST design series is reminiscent of bygone times and is our personal tribute to the origins of shaving culture. Sophisticated in the true sense of the word, the series is both cultured, elegant and ambitious.

The SOPHIST series combines two innovations - replaceable brush heads and a "renewable" fiber.
At MÜHLE, we are also ambitious. Therefore, it was time to further develop this design classic. From now on, the voluminous SOPHIST brush heads can be unscrewed. As with many other series in the MÜHLE collection, the brush head can now be replaced if necessary, while the high-quality handles made of porcelain, iron wood or high-quality resin can be reused without problems. This saves resources and makes the brush a durable and loyal companion. Each handmade model bears the manufacturer's engraved logo on the chrome base. Our best hair quality, Silvertip Fibre®, is the finishing touch to this mature product with character.

Silvertip Fibre® - now even more sustainable

The long-lasting synthetic fiber, Silvertip Fibre®, is a global innovation and our proof that art can surpass nature. The synthetically produced bristles in premium quality are particularly easy to maintain, dry quickly and are suitable for vegans. The fibers are processed by hand and are particularly soft at the tip. At the same time, the lower part of the fiber is firmer and provides sufficient backbone for a comfortable massage effect, even when wet.

But that's not all. In the name of sustainability, Mühle now uses a plant-based fiber for the blend of our premium brush fibers. This eco-efficient fiber consists of 37% renewable, plant-based raw materials. The revolutionary polymer impresses with its durability, flexibility and high volume. At the same time, its production requires 30% less energy and produces 63% fewer greenhouse gases than the production of conventional synthetic fibers.

No fear of hair loss

Even with the best care, a shaving brush can lose some of its hairs after many years of intensive use. It is therefore particularly pleasing that almost all MÜHLE design series are now available with replaceable brush heads.
