That's why it's important that when you invest in a razor, you also buy a leather strap. A leather strap (also known as an ironing belt or sharpening skin) is a tool you need to use to keep your razor sharp and clean. The leather strap aligns the ultra-fine edge of your razor and also smooths out small scratches and nicks so it glides over your skin more easily.

We have two types of leather straps in our range. One is a Paddle and the other is a Hanging. The Paddle has a handle, is easy to use and doesn't take up much space. The Hanging strap, on the other hand, is equipped with a loop at the end so it can be secured while you strap. It's the most effective strap and also the original version that is synonymous with a classic old school shave.
