The story of Fine
In 2005, Todd Cerami (Mr. Fine) read an interesting article about the benefits of a traditional wet shave. In his constant search for good investment opportunities, he was immediately drawn to the idea of shaving in a way that was both cheaper and more efficient than mass-produced alternatives.
Mr. Fine immediately set about investigating the wet shaving universe further. He quickly found that the benefits of a classic shave exceeded his expectations. It was not only cheaper and more efficient – but it transformed the whole shaving experience from a necessity to a real pleasure.
He continued to experiment with traditional shaving products and quickly realized that he was most hooked on various aftershave splashes. The wonderful scents and refreshing, cooling sensation made the shaving experience unique and satisfying in a way he hadn't felt before.
The simple pleasure led to a minor obsession when Mr. Fine bought a myriad of different aftershaves to try.
