Castle Forbes products were created by the world's smallest perfumery. The perfumery is set in the picturesque surroundings of Castle Forbes Castle on the banks of the River Don in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The castle and 6,000-acre estate is home to the head of the Forbes clan.

The perfumery was initially located in a small dairy building on the grounds and originally only produced bespoke fragrances for private customers. The mission was clear: they wanted to create a range of unique fragrances that captured the essence of the castle and the surrounding landscape. After careful development, the products were created and they all bear the Forbes family emblem.

Castle Forbes shaving creams are made from carefully selected natural ingredients. To achieve that special quality, it is only possible to make relatively small batches at a time.
