An alcohol-free aftershave can be used by all skin types - but should especially be used by dry, delicate and sensitive skin. The advantage of choosing an alcohol-free version is that it is extra gentle on the skin, adds a lot of moisture and reduces the risk of red bumps and razor burn. After shaving, rinse your face in cold water, pat dry with a clean, dry towel and then apply your alcohol-free aftershave, which should sit and penetrate the skin.

As a non-alcoholic aftershave will typically have a balm/cream consistency, in most cases it will provide enough care and moisture to the skin. However, if your skin is very dry, you can choose to apply a day cream afterwards.
