Mühle Shaving Brush, Silvertip Badger, 21 mm, Purist, Ebonite

This shaving brush is a minor work of art in itself.

The handle is made of Ebonite. It looks like marble, but it's not. Ebonite is a hard rubber compound made from natural rubber and sulphur. The result is a beautiful material with deep black and strong red hues. The name of the material alludes to its use as a substitute for the ebony wood. Ebonite is used for saxophone and clarinet mouthpieces, pipes and writing implements - and now also on elegant shaving utensils from Mühle.

The handle has a chrome-plated collar that can be unscrewed and the brush can then be removed and replaced if desired.

The brush itself is a handmade Silvertip badger brush, meaning a brush of the absolute finest quality and softness.
